George first sent me his tunes in 2011 and later that year I booked him for his first-ever festival gig at SnodFest in Worcestershire. I later put his track No I.D.ea forward for the BBC Radio 1 Playlist and got him back onto a festival stage a couple of years later at Wychwood. His next release Animal Keeper also landed a place on the Radio 1 Playlist and off the back of this success, I thought he was right to play Radio 2's Festival In A Day. He then played our BBC stage at Glastonbury.
